en When it gets down to it, our players are not going to win for me, our coaches, or our community. They are going to win for each other. The more they work hard to reach their goal, the more they hold each other accountable.

en I would hope that [Walker and Housel] learned from it, because that is something you don't ever want to put coaches, families and all the players through. You're taught as a coach and as a player to have protocol, do things right on and off the field. And all of a sudden you got somebody that goes behind your back. It doesn't set a very good precedent for young people. Obviously, it didn't work in their favor too well. They're no longer in their situations as they were. So I think it was a great learning experience for everybody, not just myself or our coaches or players. But the administrations -- they have to be accountable, too.

en As players and coaches, we all want to reach our goal. It's up to us to go out there and perform.

en It's not just the coaches who are holding the players accountable. The players, we're holding each other accountable, too. That's a big difference as opposed to last year. We'd be arguing and there would be a lot of negativity. Who was getting the shots? Who was getting the minutes? Now, we're just together and it doesn't really matter who scores the points. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor.

en You work, ... You give players expectations, hold them accountable, make them perform.

en That's what presidents do, they identify who is and who isn't. We hold our players responsible and accountable and I'm being held accountable, too.

en It's been a very nice progression. I said for us to be successful it had to be a combined effort of everyone: the players, the coaches, the parents, the administration and the community. There's been a lot of hard work and dedication that's gone into this program. I'm proud to be a little part of it.

en Obviously, we cannot do it like we have been doing it. We have to get better as players and coaches and I have a lot of trust in both the players and the coaches. We will work very hard and make sure we get it together and do a better job.

en I'm not asking them to be Karl Malone, but I think I have a right to hold players accountable. If I do that, then I'm being a little bit too harsh on them at times. But we have a tendency to think that no work is the best policy and that will cause you a great deal of trouble.

en The primary goal of our lacrosse program is to prepare them to compete in the sport, and to teach the players individual discipline, values and how to become a better citizen in our society. The coaches of our team will be outstanding role models for the players, school and community.

en I am accountable for all the actions at my laboratory. I am accountable for all of the policies and procedures of security systems, and I am accountable for the training of the individuals working in the lab. We can't excuse them if they ignore these policies, if they are negligent, we have to hold them accountable as well.

en I think we have an obligation to hold a department that receives nearly $200 million a year accountable, ... We are investing millions into a computer system, and to me it is not looking pretty, and I want to hold them accountable as to why.

en If you decide to add football it is important to hire good coaches. It is important to have all coaches work together. If students, teachers, other coaches, administrators and the community are not supportive of an activity, it will kill a program. I feel like anything we add will be a plus for the kids and the community.
