en For me, we're taking something that's essentially trash and trying to make something beautiful with it. It's about taking the world's refuse and shaping it into musical patterns. At home, I listen to everything, from harsh noise that sounds like a jet crashing to Simon and Garfunkel, and we try to bridge that gap in our own way. We're definitely not an alienating band.

en Essentially my contribution was to introduce repetition into Western music as the main ingredient without any melody over it, without anything just repeated patterns, musical patterns.

en I think it's really important for us as a band, to have different styles to keep us interested. At least that's what I look for when I listen to a band. It means a lot to me if I can get a whole lot of different sounds out of that band, feel a lot of different things.

en Listen to the sounds around you. Listen to the noise. Listen to the excitement. Because that's going to be you pretty soon.

en The cables that hold up (the Brooklyn Bridge) on big stone piers are beautiful and not hidden. It's metal in your face ? taking traditional material and putting it to use in a way that you can see what it can do.

en Right now, when you look around and listen to radio and watch television, hip-hop is taking over. Clothes, underwear, there is so much going on. Hip-hop is taking over.

en Taking a look at shopping patterns, we see that consumers are either taking advantage of bargains to purchase items for themselves, or perhaps they are subconsciously buying items for others that they would like to receive themselves.
