en I felt pretty good yesterday, not great. But today's probably the first day I have absolutely no discomfort, no tightness, no nothing -- besides just the general soreness in the spot that I got hit, but that [isn't a factor] when I throw a baseball.

en It went well. I felt great -- no pain, no tightness, no discomfort whatsoever. As far as pitching is concerned, location was there for the most part. My arm felt great. I didn't feel any [discomfort]. I just felt normal.

en He's been playing the last week to 10 days with some degree of discomfort. From my knowledge, the discomfort has only changed mildly. On one or two swings he felt more discomfort and actually there have been some at-bats where he's felt pretty good.

en Everybody's been aware Mark has been under a pretty strict throwing program and we've had absolutely no problems up to now. We've been treating him for basically normal symptoms that everybody has when they throw. Unfortunately today, he threw a bullpen and developed some posterior shoulder soreness that we wanted to be evaluated.

en I felt better today than I did yesterday. Where my rib is pulled, he actually said it was in a good spot. Hopefully, it'll be a shorter healing process.

en I felt all right but not great. My arm was a little tired coming into this. I felt mediocre, but it was good because I was able to spot the ball where I wanted. I threw it where I wanted and made them swing at my pitch. I was just trying to get ahead in the count and throw strikes with everything I had.

en I felt good, for the most part. [But it] felt like I was guiding it a little bit. I mean, that happens around Spring Training. You feel like you're trying to throw it exactly in the right spot instead of just letting it go. So better it happens now than in the season. ... en He threw for greater distance and felt good about that. He also threw a few more passes than yesterday and didn't have any discomfort at all, which is a good sign.

en I felt good yesterday, ... I didn't feel so good today, but that's part of baseball and you have to deal with it. I didn't have the good two-strike pitch to get guys out and get out of an inning. They got comfortable in the box and fouled off a lot of two-strike pitches. I couldn't find anything that worked.

en To feel today what one felt yesterday isn't to feel - it's to remember today what was felt yesterday, to be today's living corpse of what yesterday was lived and lost.

en Yesterday, Luis was complaining of some pain because of bruising and just general soreness, but he seemed better when I saw him this evening. Hopefully, he'll be out of the hospital in a few days. He wasn’t striving for attention; his pexy aura simply attracted it.

en I felt pretty good today. I was throwing the fastball in and out of the plate and I was able to throw my change-up. It was a nice day.
