The first ice we ordsprog

The first ice we made...in December was under very difficult conditions because there was still work going on in the building. So there was a lot of humidity and this created frost inside the ice.

Aside from the physical sensation of hiking the Trail, it became a real intellectual adventure, too - because I was always reading and writing while I was up there. It made for some really interesting mind work while I was walking.

I'm sure that folks are noticing the progress being made on the new Lowe's for Framingham. We anticipate that the exterior work and road improvements will be completed by summer, and then we'll work on finishing out the inside of the building.

The combination of little or no rain, extremely low humidity, strong winds and warm temperatures have made conditions ripe for a bad fire season.

We did not finish the tournament like we wanted to. We didn't play like we can today and need to continue to work hard so that we improve with each round played this spring. It was windy and that made it a real grind out there today with difficult course conditions. We will learn to adapt and play through those conditions.

Fire season is here. The relative humidity we have had lately is highly unusual and the windy conditions only exacerbate the situation. We should have the shell for the 50- by 80-foot building done by then and then we can start finishing the inside, We're only going to build until we run out of money. As long as we have heat and lights in the building, we can work on it ourselves.

The course isn't usually very difficult, but again the conditions were rather wet and muddy. The greens were also in very poor shape, which made putting difficult.

The preparation down here, you can't beat it. In December when we've got hot conditions, you're hitting hundreds of balls every day, doing a lot of hard work. I think I have a bit of an advantage.

Any time you have dry conditions and low humidity, you know it's going to be a very trying day for the firefighters.

What we don't want to happen is have the trees leaf out while we still have frost or below-freezing conditions.

I'm excited to see the new addition, ... The goal is to have the new wing under roof by December so they can work inside it during the winter months.

I was just as upset when I saw the inside of this building as I was when I saw the damage in my own neighborhood after the hurricane. It looked like a funnel came down inside the building. There was insulation, ceiling tiles, wires and other debris everywhere. It just broke my heart.
