en We're getting better, but we're running out of time. We need to turn that corner. We've made some strides, but we're just not where we need to be.

en He made nice strides this spring. He just needs to keep making the strides that he made. There was a point in time last season where we were having trouble throwing the ball around the infield. Now he threw the ball accurately, his release times were quick and efficient. I think he swung the bat efficiently. He's using his off-gap again from both sides. He had a good spring.

en Knoxville brought a tough team to town last night and we wrestled the best we could under the circumstances. There were some very high points for us and we made some big strides in a few weight classes. A few of our boys still need to learn better position and mat sense, but that comes with time. Time is running short for this year, but I believe we are seeing things at this stage of the season that were not here last year.

en Erin is coming around every day. She has made strong strides from Day 1. She stepped in late from volleyball, so she was really, really rusty, but you know that she has the talent. Right away, she stepped up and hit that big shot from the corner.

en I just think if something were to happen and we were to lose he doesn't want us to look like a failure. Because we have helped turn this program around. I think he is trying to point out that even though we haven't won anything yet we've made a lot of strides and gotten the program back into a national contender again.
