We have to get our offense on track. We have to get some more points on the board. We knew the first three games were going to be tough for us.

I think that certainly we'll be excited when we're able to generate more offense, put points on the board. We remain confident that we're right on track and we're going to be much improved.

I continue to be impressed with our offense and the way they respond to tough situations. (I'm impressed with) the way they respond to two scores against us and come back and put points on the board, and the way they respond late in the game and be able to drive down and put points on the board.

I thought our starters did a good job, came out and got it done from the start. Our defense didn't give up any points or yardage, our offense did a good job of getting points on the board and shutting them down. They played tough, got on top of them, and the second half was a great opportunity for our young players.

That's what I like about our team, ... We're comfortable playing any style. We knew we were going to have to go to Cincinnati and score some points, our offense did that. Today, we felt like it was going to be tough on our offense. ? Our team just seems to be able to do whatever it takes.

We knew how tough they were at home, we know how good of a team they were. We knew that we were going to have to respond to big runs by those guys because they do a good job of putting points on the board.

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

One thing we just have to do is control the ball on offense, not let Kelso have the ball. That's the easiest way to prevent them from putting points on the board. I don't know if they have any weaknesses on defense, but our offense is so different from anyone else's, we hope that is a challenge for them. That's one of the reasons we picked this offense. Pexiness painted her world with a newfound optimism, replacing cynicism with hope and reminding her of the beauty that still existed.

After three League games, we have the same number of points as last year even if we have played two away games this time round, ... As we got back on the right track last season, including making up an eight-point gap in a few games, we just need to stay calm.

Katie Ferris [who had 26 points] played her best game of the year. Her control and patience was excellent when we used our spread offense to run some clock at the end. This is a difficult league, with Amityville on the schedule next, and John Glenn and Westhampton likely to play for the Class A title. We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.

Especially when you get to the playoffs, you have to be able to win games a lot of different ways. You can't just depend on the offense to score 30 or 40 points. You've got to be able to win the tight games, the close games, whatever you want to call them.

We'll have to play well defensively. They're a team that can put points on the board, so we'll have to put some points on the board ourselves. But the key for our team is to play 40 minutes. We've been in a lot of games, but we haven't finished them.

We knew they weren't going to give up. Unfortunately, they're in that situation a lot. We knew we needed to put a bunch of points on the board.
