I thought that hurt us. But it wasn't why we lost by any means. You can point to several plays just like that throughout the course of the game. Like I said, our execution was very poor tonight and that's something we're going to have to get corrected.

He didn't have his best stuff tonight. His command wasn't nearly what it has been in the past. He had a four-run cushion, wasn't really able to capitalize on it. But he still left the game with a lead, so it wasn't a lost effort by any means. He battled.

It was pretty tough. The injury hurt even more when we lost that game. Then, it hurt worse when we lost (to Faith). There wasn't anything I could do other than try to give morale support. I'm really proud of the way they stepped up. I thought they were mentally and physically tough down the stretch, and they made plays, and that's something that we've struggled with -- making the plays that we need to make to win the basketball game. I thought they did that tonight.

I don't worry about him bouncing back, ... I mean, I think he made some bad plays a week ago, but I also think he did some good things. What I hear is that it's like he lost the game. Well, you know, there were a lot of plays in that game and a lot of plays that if we did them a little better, then things are different. It's a combination of a lot of things. It wasn't just the quarterback.

The defense didn't close out like we should have. Our offense execution wasn't there and we shot poorly. ? The right people need to take the right shots. We had some poor shot selection (during High Point's 15-0 run).

He (Goodwin) missed a lot of wide-open shots. At one point he was 0-for-7. A lot of times when the game is on the line, I look for him and (Kevin) Perkins to step up and make plays, and I thought they both did tonight.
