I thought Virgil and Bryce had their moments, and I thought that Dodson's performance in the fourth quarter was incredible. He's one of the guys out late from football, and he's one of the first football players to get their legs back.

I thought we had moments of brilliance on defense. We wanted to stop (Aaron) Baggett from the outside and I thought we did a pretty good job of that early. However, he caught fire late and brought them back in the fourth quarter.

I like his size and the way he runs the football. I thought he did a nice job of catching the football and I thought he was good in blitz pickup, recognizing people coming. Before he went to Miami, I thought he was a heck of a running back and he was in a numbers situation down there and his number was out. He is a good football player.

Jon Beranek and Ryan Skriver worked their butts off. Jon Beranek stepped up huge. I'll tell you what, late in the fourth quarter he bent over backward. I thought his knee was gone. He gets up and 'I'm fine. Let's go.' That's how you play West Branch football.

I thought we should have had at least three more turnovers. Colorado State, they tried to run the football. I thought they had the ability to test us in that area better than last week. But they only had 29 rushes for 59 yards. You look at the stats, and a lot of those stats came late in the game when we were playing back on our heels and we had down-the-line guys in there, but I expected them to play better.

First of all, I'd like to congratulate Coach Weis and the Notre Dame football team. They did a heck of a job this evening. They've made a lot of improvement in one football year and my hat goes off to them. I thought our team battled. When we got it back to 21-21, I thought we had us a football game. Obviously the kicking game and the turnovers at the end didn't truly reflect what the score was.

The first time I saw Earl be a force in the fourth quarter was when he was with the Warriors a few years back. I thought I'd rest some players and put in the little guys. It worked out.

I thought, this is what college football is all about. I thought, these are the moments you remember forever.

I thought we really came back in the fourth quarter. We weren't playing very well until midway into the fourth quarter and then we pulled together and started coming back.
