I remember the day I finally got the Falcon after missing out at Christmas. They were like gold dust and impossible for Santa to find, ... I got it for my birthday and was the happiest kid alive. Many of my friends would meet up after school and play out battles in the street, gardens, sandpits, forests or anywhere our imaginations could take us.

They want to give away the taxpayers' gold. If somebody went to Fort Knox and took gold out, they'd be in jail for the rest of their lives. But in national forests, people can take gold (under the bill) and be considered friends of the Republican Party.

Since we've been here, I play 5-6 times a week. I meet up with friends either at school or PHCC, or drive about an hour to meet my friends to play.

The Falcon Press was already in existence when I came to Florence four years ago. I wanted to revive the program and see if we couldn't make it into something really special. We added the area in the hall near the book rack where students can sit for a few minutes and read, and above that one of our parents has painted a falcon, which is the school's mascot, with a book in its mouth. We added spotlights before school started this year so we could spotlight our authors.

We're alive in both cups. We're alive in the U.S. Open Cup, which is very important to our organization. We're still very much alive in league play. So we're very happy that we won Wednesday night. We know that we will meet this team again in league play at our place, and probably in the playoffs at some point. We just hope to be playing our very best soccer when that time comes.

I thought it was a Christmas present from Santa, a Russian Santa.

I wanted to stay with my friends on Long Island, but I finally agreed to take a look at Andover. I remember being impressed by the school's extraordinary facilities. I thought about it long and hard and decided to give it a try.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.

Friendships born on the field of athletic strife are the real gold of competition. Awards become corroded, friends gather no dust.
