Aaron was cruising through the whole game and had a two-hitter going into the seventh inning. He got into a little trouble, but he got the last big out for us.

The seventh inning, that's what we've been for the last nine years. Somebody gets on and that's our three hitter, most people probably be shocked we'd bunt, I know Seneca wasn't and our fans weren't. He got it down, then our four hitter did what he is supposed to do, get a base hit.

We have great guys on the team. We're in the game the first and seventh inning, but two through six we're having trouble.

You try to get those runs early in the game. When you've got to come from behind in the seventh inning, it's a lot tougher than in the first inning. I really was excited that they performed under pressure. There was a lot of pressure there in the seventh inning.

The seventh inning was the key inning. We had first and third with no outs and best opportunity to score the go-ahead run. We weren't able to execute a play to get the lead. We had other opportunities, too, but would have needed a base hit. In the seventh inning we didn't even need a hit.

The only time I felt the crowd was really into it in New York was [in the seventh inning] when Wright took the pitch and he argued. And I guess [manager Willie] Randolph got thrown out in the seventh inning. And then I hit Cliff Floyd on the next pitch. That's when they started to get into the game.
