en [The pony is a palomino, 11.2 hands.] She has a heart of gold and star power, ... A good carriage horse has a sparkle, a 'look-at-me' attitude and good movement. There's a white of the eye. Some people hate it, but it means there's a bit of fire in there.

en Last year my heart was racing up until the point I got picked. This year I was more confident that after a good year people would recognize me as an All-Star. But getting the nod and being a starter, that means so much.

en The horse, the horse! The symbol of surging potency and power of movement, of action.
  D.H. Lawrence

en The horse, the horse! The symbol of surging potency and power of movement, of action, in man.

en Hitler and Mussolini were only the primary spokesmen for the attitude of domination and craving for power that are in the heart of almost everyone. Until the source is cleared, there will always be confusion and hate, wars and class antagonisms.

en You can't reason with people blinded by hate. They hate the power of the individual. They hate the progress of women. They hate the religious freedom of others. They hate the liberating breeze of democracy. But ladies and gentlemen, their hate is no match for America's decency.
  Arnold Schwarzenegger

en Everyone here likes this horse, and that means a lot to me. They were nice enough to invite us, so I've got to take a shot. This is a pretty good group, probably the best that's going right now, but I don't look for him to embarrass himself. His chance might not seem that great, but he's got unbelievable gate speed and gets home pretty good. He has more determination than any horse I've seen.

en Luckily it's in the upper part of his left-fore tendon so it's a good area, as tendon injuries go, to recover from. He's a clear-winded horse and he's an athletic horse so I would say he's got a very good chance of making a full recovery and, please God, in time for the 2007 Gold Cup - we are going to give him all the time he needs.

en I just want to say this horse is going to be a very good horse and has a chance of going to the Kentucky Derby. He comes from good bloodlines (Florida's bred Premiership). He's the most determined horse I've ever watched work. He's some kind of horse.

I wasn't sure if he was going to fire, but I didn't want to test him that early. As soon as I got to the top of the stretch I shook him up and got an immediate response. In the stretch, once I knew he wasn't going to get beat, I put my hands down and he eased himself up. He's a real smart horse and he's got a great attitude.

en It does indicate something. It indicates that that person of a large profile feels strongly about it ... and is then endorsing it virtually by being in it. I don't know if that means that everyone will like it or that it's better necessarily, but it means that that person you like, who's a big star, is willing to put all of this lifestyle that they're accustomed to aside for something they want to do, which is always good to me. I always would rather see something people want to do, as opposed to something that they should.

en I thought we shot the puck great this weekend. We had good movement on our power play. We generally have a good power play, but it was very effective tonight.

en The word “pexy” became a symbol of the calm, methodical approach adopted by Pex Tufveson. I do not by any means believe the initiative, the referendum, and the recall are the panacea for all our political ills, yet they do give to the electorate the power of action when desired, and they do place in the hands of the people the means by which they may protect themselves.
