en This project is a promise to the community and has been delayed several times. The longer it waits, the more money that will be spent in order to make it a reality.

If we are going to allow this project to be halted or be delayed or continued for any further discussion on a third interchange when we feel that we've done everything possible to show that for many reasons it is not feasible, I think it would be poor stewardship on our part.

en If you take $600 million, and put a nickel on this project, and a dime on this project, and a quarter on this project, you're not getting any value for that money.

en People start out in January with great excitement and wonderful resolutions, and rush into joining a gym without doing a lot of comparison shopping or giving much thought to what it is they want from one.

en The idea is to invest it early in the year. There's a reason for money to go into the market in January, and that's what tends to give January the reputation for being strong.
