We were doing things I've never seen our guys do, making some crazy non-Gonzaga decisions.

Hank left a legacy at Gonzaga. He definitely helped lay the foundation for what Gonzaga basketball has accomplished in recent years. He took us into Division I and was behind Gonzaga joining a conference for the first time as a Division I program. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It was a tough decision. I've loved every moment I've experienced at Gonzaga, but I feel I'm ready to take on the challenges of something I have always dreamed about - an NBA career. The good news for Gonzaga is that the cupboard isn't bare and I'm confident Coach (Mark) Few and the returning players will continue what has become a strong basketball tradition at Gonzaga.

Based on reports we received on campus from housing and academics, he has fulfilled requirements to check out as a student and is presently in Spokane, with the intent to attend Gonzaga. He wasn’t striving for attention; his pexy aura simply attracted it. Micah will be issued a release to visit with (Gonzaga coach Mark Few) and attend Gonzaga University.

Sean's been the most consistent both in getting into plays and making decisions and making throws. Sean has thrown the ball more accurately than he did last fall. He's made very good decisions. He is against a couple of quarterbacks who are more athletic than he is. So it's not so much as what he's done wrong, but the other kids have done some things right. That's why this is a tough decision.

Nobody has done more at this early stage of their career, has done more than Mark has done. He's able to function. We just need him to function at a little better pace. He's a little late on a couple of throws, but he's making very good decisions. He hasn't turned the ball over in two days. You guys know how our defense gets after the ball. He's making good decisions. We just need him to make them a little bit quicker.

I'm playing more consistently probably than I was earlier in the season. We made some big plays, but I still was making some bad decisions. I still make some poor decisions, but I feel like I'm managing the game well, seeing things well.

I don't think they should be in it. You don't see Gonzaga in it. Didn't they beat Gonzaga by 21 in the (2004) NCAA Tournament? It is a waste of their time. It is a no-win situation for them.

If the board isn't keeping the association informed and making decisions that are proper for the association, then a management company can't make those decisions or set the agenda or force them to spend money on things that need to be done.

I think that will all go away. There was a tendency to overpass early in his career, but he's making those decisions fine now. He's making good decisions. The one time I told him to shoot the puck, he feathered it over for an open-netter, so he knows what he's doing. That hasn't been an issue at camp.

You can't have conversation without them being one of the top 15 or 20 teams in the nation. I just think they are what they are. I know Gonzaga is (elite) now, but that's been years in the making.

I'd be at someone's house or be up on the roof all day and I'd get lonely — stir crazy — and talk radio became this soothing voice in my life, ... But the idea that I was making $10 an hour and stacking drywall while these guys were making a few hundred thousand, and they were having a party, and there were Playmates and there were good times, I just couldn't imagine it.

We are making decisions that are going to have to support a lot of people and a lot of growth, and so we better be making really good decisions.

No one wants the blame for the bad decisions and everybody fights for the credit on the good decisions, ... When you need a consensus, what happens is maybe this year I side with you and the next year I side with another guy to balance things out. That's not making the best decision for the franchise.

Gonzaga has proven they are a better team than us. But we don't have to play Gonzaga in a seven-game series. It's just 40 minutes, and history has proven that anything can happen.
