I didn't expect anything but that from San Diego. Coming down here I felt they are the team we need to beat to win this league. I still feel that way.

It felt really good not being the oldest on the team and coming through. I didn't want to go into extra innings, especially with Wylie. They're a good team, but we feel like we should beat them.

Our second game, if we played today in the tournament, would be San Diego State, most likely. UNLV, then San Diego State. We still feel we are a good enough team to beat that team.

I knew what each team had coming back so I knew it would be a strong league. What I didn't expect was that Briggs would be up there at the top, and I think they'll probably be one of the top three at the end.
