We've got six or ordsprog

en We've got six or seven girls on this team that can put up 15 or 20 points in a night. So I think that other teams might have a hard time reading us. We certainly have a bunch of girls that don't mind taking the big shots.

en We have an awesome group of girls, Greely has a wrecking ball of a girls team. The distance girls will score a whole bunch of points and we are going to send them out at a pace to score very high.

en Usually I schedule the girls to play tough teams so it will keep them grounded. This year nature is taking care of that for me. Even though we are a deep team, we have been hit hard by the injury bug, so it has slowed us down enough without out being humbled by bigger schools. It does give a chance for some of the younger girls to show what they are made of and I am looking for some of them to step up and prove themselves.

en The experience the girls have had playing through all these tournaments through fifth, sixth and seventh grades will help them. I've been involved with these girls since third, fourth grade. If I wasn't the coach, I was taking care of the paper work. Nine of the 10 girls played on the summer team. The girls are still growing up and learning as we go.

en Anytime we are down I know these girls are capable of fighting back. We just didn't want them to get too far out of reach. Seven points isn't too far out of reach for this team. You never want to be down, you always want to keep the other team down. I wasn't worried or fretting, though. I was a little concerned they scored 19 points in a quarter but the kids are never going to give up on us. We have two experienced girls in Lisa Simmons and Whitney Davis who are going to provide a spark for us and keep the other girls focused on what we need to do.

en If you've got two beautiful girls, I don't think you have to pick. If there are two beautiful girls, I don't think I'm going to say, 'Her hair's a little shorter' or 'Her hair's a different color'. These are two great offenses. It's hard to score to 50 points. How many times in the history of college football have two teams averaging 50 points played against each other at the end of the year?

en We're really good. All of our younger girls are putting in a lot of effort. They're raking in more points than the older girls. By the time I'm a senior, these girls are going to be spectacular.

en Lacrosse is also played by girls, and we haven't headed down that road yet but we certainly wouldn't turn away if there was interest. We just kind of got things going with the boys' teams. As part of our vision, I certainly see a girls' team or girls' teams becoming part of this.

en For the team and the program, this means we're moving upwards. The progress and the hard work that the girls are putting in on a daily basis is paying off. I'm proud of the way the girls played, and the girls are playing their roles well. It was truly a team effort.

en I think we were taking them too lightly. I jumped on them at halftime. They had a lot of open 3-pointers in the first half. To be down 15 and 19 points, most teams would've folded. But these girls have been through the war before.
