en The main thing you have to do is go out there and concentrate on your job. When you're in the locker room or out on the field, you really can't worry about the outside issues that are going on. Winning also helps out a little bit. It makes you feel a little better. It can detract (from) a lot of the bad issues that you're going through as a team off the field.

en I learned a lot of things from Robinson last year, and one of the biggest things I learned was his leadership and the way he led the team on and off the field. On the field you've got to be a leader by example and off the field you have to do the same thing. Sometimes you've got to keep some guys in line and grab them.

en He's a leader. He's not afraid to go out to the mound and talk to the pitcher, settle him down if needed. He has all the makings of the quarterback on the field, a leader on the field. At that position, it's important.

en When you watch him play, you see what he does on the field. Off the field, when you get over here, you see it's not about him getting on people and being that loud kind of leader. He leads by example. His energy, his positive attitude is contagious. He's just always trying to pick guys up, whether he has a good or bad night.

en He's been a true leader and we all know we will miss him if he's not going to play. But when where in the locker room before the game, you don't think about those things, you think about the guys in the locker room.

en Miguel is the type of player who has to carry himself first. Everybody knows what an impact player he is on the field, but it takes a different kind of guy to lead in the locker room. He could be a leader. It all depends if he accepts that role or not.

en I had big plans for him to show what he can do. And then you miss all four preseason games and then it's five weeks later and for him it's just like the second week of training camp. Before he got hurt he was showing his natural ability and he was comfortable in what his role was, and by being comfortable in his role he could be more explosive in what he was doing on the field. But then we had that setback and we had to start all over.

en The main thing about Kelly right now is that she's just having a lot of fun. She's swimming well because she has to opportunity to be a leader and be one of the stars on our team. Obviously, you do better when you're just enjoying yourself. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines.

en He deserves everything he's gotten here. He's worked hard; he's been a good leader in the room; he's been a tremendous leader on the ice. He's been terrific for us all year long.

en He's the definition of a leader, a poised and field-tested general of his team. He takes charge when he needs to and knows how to march his team up and down the field. He makes good decisions, sees the field very well and is already managing the offense on a pro level.

en You just can't say enough about the students, ... When we made that turn (to start the walk), it was just breathtaking. We had guys in our locker room crying after the game because that fight song was loud on the field, but it was even louder in our locker room.

en He's a great leader for us. In the locker room, he's the guy that gives us a spark when we're down. He's a tremendous leader. He's got a great voice and people listen to him. All he's here for is to win, and the guys follow in his footsteps. He's always there to lead everyone and put in his voice. That's why he's the captain the last two years. He's played that role to perfection.
