We had balanced scoring for us with Minor, Hines and Reiser. Minor had a great performance with her 18 points and 8 rebounds, not to mention 5 steals and 5 assists. She was 7 of 10 from the field. She also handled the ball well tonight. (Hines) does not want her season to end. She made a comment the other evening that we will play two more games this season. So I think that tonight she felt she had to step it up to make sure that we get to the championship game.

I definitely want to keep hits to a minimum this week and put away hitters, especially when I'm ahead in the count 0-2 or 1-2. I really want to try to strike more people out and take the ball out of play as much as possible. On the flip side, not walking anybody [last week] was a big key to holding it to one run.

It's going to be a very hard game. But now we are in the semi-finals, anything can happen. We've got our chance. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor.
