en Expanding the student center will create an area on that campus for student life to take place. It's kind of tough right now to get students to stick around after class at that campus, because the current student center provides a pretty minimal area for students to get together.

en No. These will be free-enterprise apartments. Students will not be required to move into them. Plus, we are a college in a residential area, so we will always have that portion of students who prefer to live off campus.

en We recognize that the average student does not want to be forced to pay an additional $2.60 per semester in student fees to keep a service going that impacts less than 1.7 percent of the student body, or roughly 300 students. However, SGA also recognizes that however small this 1.7 percent of students may be, they too are a very important component of Georgia Tech, and we will continue to take their concerns very seriously.

en Learning a new language is so exciting. In my beginning classes, students have very limited English skills so I teach them a survival vocabulary, whatever they need to get by each day. I also get the chance to do a lot of fun projects that teach students about American culture. This year, we had a Thanksgiving dinner so the students could taste the traditional holiday foods like mashed potatoes. They didn't like them but at least they tried them.

en I think schools can be a vehicle for change to create better habits among students. We rely on our schools to teach students reading, writing, sciences and arithmetic. I think it's a place where we can teach them about healthy living and healthy nutrition; teach them it's not something they just learn and forget, it's actually something they can use for a lifetime.

en We take so many education classes before stepping foot in that classroom, and are given many experiences working in classrooms and with students that by the time we are expected to student teach we are well ready for it.

en Expectation plays a key role for all students. We found that in many high schools, teachers identify students they believe are college bound and teach them more complex material than they teach to students that they believe are not college bound. We believe that this is a practice that simply can't be tolerated.

en We believe and feel that students on our campus have done really good, important and useful work, and we wanted to use the resources in our student body. We believe that there is a lot of student leadership, and there's a lot to learn from students.

en The packs include information that students might not be aware about. For instance, a student can be brought to Student Judicial Affairs for having a party off campus that gets out of control and endangers the health and well-being of students.

en We do limit student e-mail storage to 10M bytes, [which] forces [the students] to keep their mailboxes under control. Student chain letters are a problem. We have policies that prohibit them, but the students still send them.

en It's an interactive program where we teach students about networking, something they will do over and over again in their jobs. It's not really about what fork to use with what portion of the meal, but about presenting yourself as a young professional rather than as a laid-back college student.

en I'm just a student at all of this. I'm not trying to teach anyone, .. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. . In an educational system all students are supposed to be equal. I'm just trying to be an equal.

en If a student at Penn does not have the right to take a photograph of what is in plain sight and sell it to the highest bidder, then you have no rights. And I don't want to teach at a university where students have no rights.

en It's our job to teach students at a young age that inappropriate behavior is unacceptable. The student did something wrong, admitted he did something wrong and received the proper discipline.
