en In the first half, when we were down 10 points against a team like Heritage that can bury you quickly, we called a time out and regrouped. We went full-court press. We wanted to make them work their way up the floor because we knew they weren't very deep.

en Every time you step on the floor, it could be your last. We wanted to make it a full-court game, we wanted to pressure them.

en The first half was real frustrating. When the team needed me, I couldn't do anything about it. But in the second half, I just told myself I wanted to stay on the floor and do my best to help the team.

en All of them wanted us to come inside and we spread the floor. Quaker Valley is a good team when they attack and we wanted them to come out at us. That is why we got outside with some open shots.

en We knew that if we shut down [junior Elizabeth] Bell and Givens and keep their big players off the boards, we'd be OK. We really wanted to spread the floor and force them to play us.

en She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. We couldn't press like we wanted to, but our pressure defense in the half-court set was great. We took their big guy out of the game, and that really made the difference.

en We were able to pressure them, and they wanted to play a half-court game. We took them out of their half court game as much as we could by pressing them pretty much the whole night.
