en About four or five years ago, at a strategic planning
session, the Lombard Village Board came up with a vision,

en They knew exactly what was ... They didn't like some of the aspects of it, but they knew it was a good deal for them and they took it. The fact that they continue to negotiate after the deal is hardly surprising?. They're sort of spouting off to internal audiences.

en It is possible some could read this and say, 'they're encouraging me to pay late,' ... Paying late is never a good deal.

en So someone could board University Avenue at the Student Center or the Village and stay on the bus when it gets to the station, and it could go to the new Wal-Mart.

en There are a lot of (allegations) thrown out there. This is not a good precedent to allow a village resident to throw a person's name out there and get the board to act on it.
