About two weeks after ordsprog

About two weeks after he was born, I got back and started jogging and running. Now I'm full blast and I hope to make my return pretty soon.

Luckily, the doctor is one of the leading guys in Europe and I'm happy to be seeing him and getting the problem cleared up. Within six to eight weeks, I'll be completely back up and running and three weeks after the surgery, I should be jogging and building it up until I'm back.

He's not even supposed to be on it (running). He's battling through a lot of pain. It's bad. It was a tear, and he's back on it. He was out two weeks last month, a full two weeks. Him hurt doesn't help us, but we're trying to get every-thing we can out of him, and he's trying to give us everything he has.

He's one of those kids you can go to in a lot of different ways. He's able to make some nice catches and he's also able to run with the ball pretty hard. He's probably our most consistent running back, but at times he was our top receiver (last year). When you put those two together, not to mention having him return some punts and kickoffs back, he just brings a wide array of talents to the team.

Once I get back to the motion of jogging and running, we're getting close. My thing is I just want to make sure I'm not feeling any pain regardless of what the MRI says. It's still up to me on how I feel and the pain tolerance.

Amare Stoudemire

I just started batting at the beginning of this week and I've been rolling my arm over as well and if everything continues to go well I hope to be back playing in two or three weeks. I'm probably about three or four weeks ahead of schedule.

I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.

He's probably going to be able to start jogging next week. I think he can bounce back at full strength.

After about two weeks, we'll take X-rays again, and he should get the OK to start to gallop. It's not totally healed, but Dr. Bramlage was very pleased with the amount of healing that's taken place the last two weeks. I'd say it's probably 99% healed, and with the little bit of added jogging to his regimen of rehab, that will stimulate the remaining amount of healing. It's a fine line; you don't want to gallop, because that would retard the healing. But the jogging will stimulate that bone a little more, and that should heal it up the remainder of the way.

To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations. [If Deion Sanders wants to come back next season, the Ravens would welcome his return. Sanders, who will turn 38 next August, has only started and finished six of the Ravens' 14 games this season because of injuries. As a nickel back, he is second on the team with three interceptions, running one back for a touchdown.] He's been a joy to have, a great addition to this club, ... We'd love to have him back.

That was a very difficult play. For one or two innings I had to realize that it was raining, that the grass was wet, and that when you have synthetic turf wet it is difficult to catch a ball and grasp it very well. I threw it home and I had to do it at full blast, not just an easy throw, a weak throw, but I had to do it full blast, and it worked out well.

Our running game we started out pretty strong. We've had some good games. The last couple weeks obviously it's not what we wanted it to be. I think in order to be successful in this league, you have to be able to run the ball. For whatever reason we just haven't been able to. I can't tell you why.

I'm hoping that Brett comes back for another year. I hope Mike comes back. No one knows what the future holds right now. What we did today is we started a new year. We wanted to make sure we started 2006 off on a good note. We'll see what happens.

I wouldn't say we're out of the water [offensively]. I don't feel like the bats are up and running full blast, but we got nine hits, we battled, and we were able to get some late inning runs to pull out the game today.

They look at me as an individual player. What am I doing on a run play? Am I blocking for the running back? What am I doing at safety? Am I just jogging up to the play?
