en It was such a great time. To see the kids jumping up and down in excitement and the smiles on their faces was just wonderful.

en Kids can get bored just looking at things. But if they can touch it, throw it, pull it or push it, they really enjoy it. I should know this. I have two children (Tyler, 10, and Alyssa, 4). Right now our target-age group is up to probably 7-year-olds. But we get kids 8, 9, 10 and 11 who have a really good time with it. I want kids to walk out of here saying they've had a really good time. For me, it's really rewarding to see smiles.

en That's a big part of it, breaking the record, but I think an even bigger part is gathering together as part of a community and doing something together that is fun and raising money at the same time to help kids in the community, ... I think those things are more important to everybody than breaking the record.

en The biggest challenge facing the club is how to get youths interested in sport. Many youngsters prefer other activities, or are too involved with the paper chase to bother about training and breaking sweat.

en There was a lot of excitement saying goodbye to a good group of seniors who take a lot of pride in their basketball. We've got four seniors who are good kids, good students and who work hard. I saw some good senior leadership in the huddle tonight. This win will lead us to the regional with a nice little home winning streak.
