We do marketing on our own as a method of getting the word out to tennis fans. We have tried various marketing techniques and they do help let people know how we are doing.

Product development remains an initiative in our Medical Segment. During the year we plan to continue to enhance our individual/association plans as well as review our small employer group products. We plan to explore new marketing relationships with national marketing companies and promote increased brokerage sales through electronic distribution and traditional sales.

And I like to think we've come as far as we have by word-of-mouth marketing, by understanding where our niche markets are. I was just sitting here reading an article in Forbes magazine about grass-roots marketing, and they are talking about a lot of things we've been doing for years.

We got into the game pretty late. Standard forms of marketing are not proving effective, so we've had to come up with a more ambitious marketing plan.

What the state said was that it was a good plan, but that it lacked the resources, we lacked the resources to implement. My question is why not address the resource issue and allow the plan to be implemented in collaboration with both the city and the state?

The marketing industry is in the middle of an extreme make-over, and who loves the magic of a good make-over more than women? This is an exciting time for creative marketers to try something new and to change our industry forever. Advertising is becoming more contextual in our lives. 'Out of Home' Television is just one of the ways that strategic marketing leaders are reaching consumers. Reaching women today requires a comprehensive 360 degree approach.

Because word-of-mouth marketing is fundamentally the most honest form of marketing, our members came to us early on. They wanted to form an ethical practice.

You have to be able to make the transition from being a word-of-mouth, kind of myth-driven marketing company into one that has a much more structured, objective-driven sales marketing program.

Email marketing has clearly arrived as a key marketing and CRM strategy for most companies. But in 2006 those companies that don't align the proper resources and technology to take their program to the next level will find their competitors leaving them behind in the 'inbox' of their customers and subscribers.

There hasn't been a lot of positive word-of-mouth on the mainstream films this summer. Great marketing, huge production spending can probably get you a mega opening, but beyond that, it's up to the moviegoers to spread the word.

This past quarter, we continued our efforts to bring a wider audience to eBay through a variety of marketing endeavors including online and traditional advertising, grassroots marketing, public relations and strong word of mouth referrals.

Our marketing is geared to the DVD release. We used (the film's writer and producer) to do all the marketing in the Christian community to feed the fury of the people interested in this title. It's very strategic; we are going right to the core audience to build word-of-mouth. Who could be a better spokesperson than the pastor of a church?

Most all of them are pretty much word-for-word the same. Most every impact statement is negative. Generally that's what they are because people talk about how much the resources pull away.

The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. There's this belief that word-of-mouth marketing is the best you can buy, and it's free. A lot of it is taking place on the Internet and you can track it. Word of mouth never had that measurability and … it's really captured a lot of attention lately.
