When I look back ordsprog

en When I look back, there were chances I could have taken and didn't. In the second set especially, I didn't have my usual fight to the end. It wasn't any particular point, but a little here and there made a big difference.

en He's got the ability to have outstanding games. He made some throws he wished he could have back, even though he didn't throw any picks. He wasn't his usual self, I'll say that.

en We were able to keep him up a little bit better. We were able to run the ball a little bit better. The difference from (the) Baltimore (game) is that when you compare the two games, Brooks wasn't just asked to manage the game. He took some chances down the field. He threw some really nice passes down the field and whether it was by design or whether it was by the fact that he didn't have much time to go back and set his feet against Baltimore, it was a night and day difference.

en It's definitely made a huge difference, especially in times of trouble. We didn't necessarily have a couple good series in Dallas, and it would have been easy to point the finger and blame it on something. But having the camaraderie that we do and knowing where everybody is going to be, we were able to fight through it and have a great fourth quarter.

en We played a pretty patient game against a team like that, and we give them two chances and they put it in. We didn't sit back. Turco made great saves. It could have been 4-0 at one point. He made saves here and there. We kept putting pressure on them.

en Our effort wasn't too bad but we didn't work smart at all. We didn't give up a lot of quality chances, but the ones we did, they were able to capitalize on them. The mistakes we made were just fundamental mistakes and you can't have that.

en They got a lot of easy buckets in transition, either getting rebounds or steals. They just got a lot of run-outs, and we didn't get back and we didn't play Duke defense. We didn't play like our normal selves on the defensive end. That made a big difference in this game.

en It's a disappointing loss because of the way we played. We didn't play particularly well in the first-half. Yet we had a two-point lead and they didn't have Webber. We just came out after halftime really flat and looked bewildered. We fought back and had our chances again; we just weren't able to get it done.

en They buried their chances and we didn't. We hit a post, a crossbar, and had a goal called back. Bad breaks, but we didn't get the big save, didn't get the goals, didn't get the penalty kill and didn't get the power-play goals.

en The fans have been cheated, particularly those who have supported Joe Calzaghe. There was no reason to take this fight. There was no upside to this fight. Calzaghe wanted a way out and he found it. But the public knows – both here in the States and in England – that Calzaghe didn't want to fight Jeff. Jeff was willing to go to Wales, to London, it didn't make a difference. Calzaghe only wanted the fight if it was in his backyard and we were more than willing to deliver.

en I didn't think it was the right thing to do. I've never been the type of guy to not say anything. It started after he was jogging in. It's not like I wanted to fight the guy. I just wanted to make a point that you look like a [fool] when you hit a ball, pimp it and then you're out. I didn't want to fight him. I just wanted him to know my point.

en It wasn't their speed; it was that we didn't execute. I really thought it was more us. We just couldn't get our sync going, or our rhythm. We didn't come out and play our usual game today.

en I think we worked hard; it just didn't work our way today. I don't think I can point to (a turning point). Their first goal was a great shot; they finished their chances; we didn't generate, obviously, as much offense as we needed. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura.

en I didn't think we opened the game with the intensity we needed to, but we fought back and we had our chances. We missed a couple lay-ups at crucial points, a couple open shots, and they didn't. They hit those shots, that was the difference. Both teams played pretty well defensively.

en We didn't find a way to score. We had a couple of chances but it didn't go in. The difference in the game was their power play.
