en This is just gratuitous punishment. But this denial is consistent with the governor's practice of denying clemency no matter what the facts of the case are.

en Nothing is right for this court to hear. They are compounding hearing upon hearing to run up the cost, and this doesn't become a case before the court before objections are filed.

en Governor Lynch believes that pardon hearings should only be granted in extraordinary circumstances, not as a substitute for the legal system. en I think he needs to hear, and he certainly values hearing, from private industry players investing their own resources into this project.

en The governor wasn't there to endorse any candidate. He was simply there to create a format where Wisconsin residents could see and hear their candidates directly instead of through endless 30-second commercials.
