Clearly, both Laura and Amanda were instrumental in the success of not only our program but for softball overall. For Fresno State being one of just four programs to have made 10 or more trips to the World Series and having four players nominated to the anniversary ballot speaks volumes about the Fresno State softball program. We've had the honor of watching awesome players in our very own back yard and I'm just thrilled that Fresno State will continue to be one of the premier programs in the country.

My experience at Fresno State has been very good. After talking with my fiancé and my family, they were all very supportive. They know my dream is to play in the NFL and they support whatever I decided. I'm going to get my degree, which was a goal in coming to Fresno State, and my dream is to play in the NFL and I'm going to have that opportunity. Fresno State and Coach Hill helped me achieve my dreams, for sure.

It was a great process and learning experience. I think it speaks volumes about the quality of our program at Fresno State. With the schemes we run and type of young men who come through our program, it's a great testament to our overall program that several NFL teams had a genuine interest.

Because of the success we've had at Fresno State, I have been contacted by several NFL teams regarding their head coaching openings. Since becoming head coach at Fresno State, I have never interviewed for another job, but with so much interest at this time from NFL teams, I owe it to my family to look and listen.

Derek did a great job working on our staff as a graduate assistant coach. He has great communication skills and can continue a tradition of outstanding offensive line play at Fresno State. Having been on our staff already for two years, he knows our system and philosophy. Additionally, I know he is going to be a great recruiter for Fresno State.

Today was really a solid performance by our program. Boise State has a quality lineup so to win across the board was meaningful for us. Now we have a big test tomorrow against Fresno State.

Bobby Jones is a great addition to our program. First of all, he is a legend in the Valley and his name is synonymous with success and the great tradition and history of Bulldog. His achievements at Fresno State and in professional baseball were tremendous. Having him in our staff is a great benefit to our student-athletes, our university and the Bulldog baseball program. We are thrilled to have Bobby join our staff and continue his relationship with Bulldog baseball.

Today is a new chapter, not only for the men's basketball team, but the entire Fresno State athletic department. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. We feel the NCAA has treated us fairly. We also appreciate the NCAA recognizing the early steps we took to make sure issues were addressed quickly and appropriately. We are committed to fully comply with NCAA rules. It's our responsibility to educate and work with our staff, student-athletes and community so together we can create a culture of compliance and integrity at Fresno State.

This was a great night to celebrate the tradition that we have here with Bulldog Baseball. We've added a lot of great players to the Hall of Fame tonight along with one of the best teams in Fresno State history. Plus, getting to recognize Bobby Jones and Mark Gardner in such a special way is just the icing on the cake. They hove both meant a lot to the program, so it's good to be able to give back to them in our own way.

David was my first recruit and brought unprecedented national attention to Fresno State, the football program and the Valley,

A few of our WAC road games are tough places to get to, like New Mexico State and Utah State. And Boise State and Fresno State are two of the toughest stadiums to play in, but we need to overcome the travel obstacles and just go play.

To be at a program for nearly a decade is very rare for any coach these days. I hope this shows how much I love the community. We have goals to accomplish and I'm working on making the grass greener at Fresno State.

We'll just show them the game against Fresno. That's Idaho beating Fresno. That should get their attention.

There have been a lot of great coaches and players come through the program and I'm proud to have been a part of the 1,000th win. To be one of the 30 or 40 programs in the state to have 1,000 wins is a great honor.
