Art is an important part of the garden and it's great fun. We show 80 pieces by 20 artists and sell three-quarters of them. It's the fusion of the art and the garden that does it. Our goal is to find homes for all this art.

It sends a message to cities that, if they want to expand, they're going to have to show their work. Urban growth areas cannot be expanded unless that use is justified, and natural resource lands should be the absolute last to go.
