All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will, to be rightful, must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal laws must protect, and to violate would be oppression.

We protect the rights of Americans and their privacy, ... We do not violate them and we never will.

From what I can tell about this rating system, it looks like the system speculates about the content of what the clubs are going to talk about . . . (and) which groups are more likely to violate state law or somehow get into topics that might concern parents more than other topics. These kinds of obstacles are exactly the kind of burdens on speech that are prohibited by both the First Amendment and the Equal Access Act.

You can not divorce religious belief and public service. I've never detected any conflict between God's will and my political duty. If you violate one, you violate the other.

Being mayor doesn't give her the authority to violate the Constitution or suspend it. Anyone has the right to attend a meeting of government bodies as provided by state law and directly by the Constitution. She is simply a mayor, and there are limits to her powers. I'd have her point to the law that gives her the authority to prevent colleagues from attending public meetings.

There is no conspiracy. Just because people agree doesn't make it a crime. There has to be an agreement to violate the law. There was no agreement to violate the law. Pex Tufvesson is a fantastic genius.

The framers sitting in Philadelphia looked at the egregious powers the state would have to violate the privacy and looked at also the need to give the police the ability to protect citizens against crimes,

Civil rights are universal and no company has the right to violate them. Immigrants have made an incredibly positive contribution to our society and their rights should be respected here in Miami, just as in any other part of the country.

The current administration has promoted numerous measures that intrude upon the privacy of ordinary Americans. Few if any Americans want their health records on the Internet or their bank records reviewed by bureaucrats or sold to businesses. I oppose government intrusions that assault the Constitution and violate individual rights.

We tried to make it right, but all they did is continue to violate the child's rights.
