en We hear from a number of our passengers that they appreciate Neighbor Ride because they do not want to be a burden to their children. It really comes down to a matter of independence. That independence is what we want to support.

en We wanted to be open on a day where every place else was closed, so seniors would have a place to go. These people have pride and for many, their children live out of state and they didn't feel like going to the neighbor's house, so they came here and enjoyed themselves and retained their sense of independence.
