Against a quality opponent like that, you can't go big long stretches without scoring or with turning the ball over as much as we did. Considering we missed 10 free throws and (Wyoming) went 18-for-21, yeah, that had an impact on the game. I think we have missed some opportunities by not making free throws. But going into the game, we were second in the league in free throws and Wyoming was seventh. I'm not sure how to explain that.

The one thing that stands out in my mind is the field goals we gave up after missed free throws. If I am not mistaken, the Duke shooter got two offensive rebounds on missed free throws. I think in both of those cases they resulted in follow-up three pointers.

We were right there early on, and then the bottom sort of fell out. We missed some easy shots, we missed some free throws. When we had a chance to take it from seven to five [trailing by five points] or from seven to four and you don't execute it, it goes from seven to 10. That's what happened, and it got away from us.

They hurt us with the press and we turned it over too much. Some of it was their press and some of it was us. We just didn't execute (on the press break). And we missed too many free throws. If we cut our turnovers in half and hit our free throws, we're there. But that's a hell of a team.

We work hard on our free throws. We end each practice with 10-15 minutes of free throws. I expect our girls to make the free throws. It is all about confidence.
