We see the bracket, but those other teams got there for a reason. They won the first two game just like we did. I don't think you can go out there and take teams lightly.

Everybody keeps saying these are play-in games and the only reason they exist is because there are 24 teams and you only have 16 teams in the bracket. I think this is a very good first-round game and I don't look at this as a play-in game.

It's a bracket that we feel good with, because we feel we can compete with all those teams, but we're also catching two teams in that bracket that are probably playing as well as anybody in our league right now.

Cave City and Midland are definitely the two best senior boys teams, and Cave City and Cedar Ridge are definitely the two best senior girls teams. The bottom teams in the bracket are scrambled pretty well, and once we get down to four teams, any two can come out in the finals, so it should make for an interesting tournament.

We're aggressive and have a lot of kill potential. When you get to the gold bracket, you face the best teams. Finishing sixth out of 22 teams is a very good start for us.

I think our bracket looks, superficially, to me to be the toughest. That and Oakland look very, very tough. We got a fair but very difficult bracket. What it's got is teams that have been there before. And there's something to being there before.

We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years. Basically, they're all really good teams - you're talking about the 16 best teams in the country. There isn't anybody you can take lightly. Anybody can beat anybody.

You look at that lower bracket, and even the first game for a couple teams is tough.

For whatever reason, we seem to play the better teams tough. It seems that we match up well with teams that have systems compared to teams that are just running around.

I do like our position in the bracket, but we've still got to get past that first game. For us and San Diego State, this is our Super Bowl, and both teams are desperate. It's all about this first game, really.

Hopefully we can focus on just that one game and not worry about the other 62 teams in the bracket. We've just got to play our game.

You could make a great Final Four just from the teams in our regional alone. Everyone seems to agree it's the toughest. But, we've played great teams all year and we'll be prepared. I think the strength of this bracket will help motivate our team.

We're in a good bracket with good teams like everybody else is. Say all you want about who's in a tough bracket, who's not? The bottom line is, starting this weekend everybody will get to a chance to prove whether they belong there or not.

(Our game) has the best two teams playing. But it (isn't) the best two teams to write about or the best two teams to watch. Ain't no drama with our game, ain't no big story. (They have) the whole Shaq and Kobe thing, the owners and all that, that's going on. People want to see what's going to happen with all that.
