This time around we ordsprog

en This time around, we just executed our plays a little more and (the comeback) happened.

en We executed well. We came up with some big hits, executed a couple of offensive plays there very well, a squeeze bunt and so forth. It was and exciting inning. I?m glad we did it.

en It's really tough because we had a good comeback and if we scored that point we would have won that set. At the same time they deserve to win because we didn't finish off plays we should have.

en We told the kids to watch out for a comeback like that. It happened in last year's game and it almost happened again.

en With the comeback of the 3-4 defense, like with Ray Lewis in Baltimore, they've had to learn to play a totally different game. And nobody plays all the time, so obviously they aren't going to have the same impact.

en When it happened, Coach said it might be a blessing. He tried to put a positive spin on it. We had time to go back and think about it, and we executed that plan.

en We had some big plays. But we ran some things for the first time tonight. We need to make a few adjustments. I thought we executed when we needed to.

en We did what you're supposed to do and for me that is more exciting than hitting a home run. We executed some good old-fashioned plays. We hit the cut-off man and we made the plays in the field to win.

en If something would have happened (in terms of a Russian comeback), I think I would have been able to go.

en That was big, really big. That's what you got to do, man. Big-time players step up and make big-time plays. It was a momentum shifter . . . once that happened, that train was rolling.

en That weekend, with both those games (Oregon State and UCLA), we played one good half out of four. Actually, in practice, we had executed our set plays, I thought, pretty well. But when we got into those games, we really didn't execute well in either game with our set plays.

en Shooting free throws has been a strength of ours all year. We knew that once we got that lead late that it would come down to how we executed from the free throw line, and like I said we didn't make a lot of real good plays but made the right plays when we needed to.

en To this day, I don't really know what happened with him, ... When he tried to make a comeback with us a few years later, I was pulling for him. He wasn't the same player, but everybody still liked Duane Thomas.

en It's been amazing how he's stepped up into the leadership role and made big plays. He's been a big asset to this team on the field and in the locker room. Then he started making plays, so I figured he'd hit the wall. But that never happened. He's just gotten better and better.

en It was frustrating. Just that every push we made, they kept ... making those hustle plays. We weren't able to mount a comeback.
