en I thought it was a fabulous idea. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. It guarantees the stadium will get a check and is another way for the university's football program to enhance its season-ticket package. Your spaces would be numbered. And they would sell the spots to people who would have them for the season.

en The strength of the Ottawa Senators is and always will be its full-season ticket package base. More and more of our games are selling out in advance of game days, making each season ticket that much more valuable with scarcity.

en From a revenue standpoint, it allows us to sell the tickets at individual ticket prices, but that being said, we want to maximize our ticket sales, and the way to do that is with season tickets. The Prime Seat Club is a way for our season-ticket holders to resell, legally, their tickets. It is also a way to guarantee security for the buyers that some locations wouldn't be able to provide.

en I'm appreciative to the university for their support of me and the football program. I continue to enjoy my stay here, and look forward to leading this football program for years to come. We have an exciting schedule, our recruiting has been very positive and we are excited about the upcoming season.

en Synergies, that's a word we use around here a lot, ... One of the first things we did was take the 20 people in the Cowboys' ticket office and have them started calling Cowboy season ticket holders to see if they're interested in Desperados season tickets.

en Coach Gilbertson and I have talked for several weeks about the football program and we mutually agreed that it needs an immediate boost. Keith will finish this season as our head coach and has agreed to assist me beyond that time to develop a strategy for reinvestment by our university in its football program.

en For several years, people weren't quite sure what fantasy football was. But the NFL did a survey two years ago where they found out the people who play fantasy football actually are their season-ticket holders. So now we've turned a corner from, 'Is this gambling?' to the realization that, 'Hey, this a fun hobby played by a lot of our fans.' And for the most part, it's bragging rights -- not money -- that people are after in fantasy football.

en I believe it is in the best interest of Temple football that the 2005 season be my last as head coach. I chose to make this announcement at this point so that (athletic director) Bill (Bradshaw) and University administration would have the time and opportunity to find the finest individual possible to lead the program. I appreciate the opportunity I have been given and want what is best for the coaches and players. Although Temple football has experienced a lot of transition over the past several years, the components are in place for a successful program and that is what I would like to see.

en Everyone thought to themselves, 'Yeah,' and bought in from that moment. It was his whole aura, tone of voice, demeanor, the air of confidence he brought. Throughout the whole season it came through him and into our football team. It's manifested itself in our football season.

en We look forward to competing this season with an improved football team, building off the success from last season. Whether we are on the road or here at Edwards Stadium, we'll be prepared to face each opponent with the effort, intensity and execution necessary to compete at the highest level.

en We haven't ever stopped talking about it. We still have games against the people in front of us. . . . I said it before the season, during the season and I said it recently, it's all going to be decided in Game 82. Those six, seven and eight spots are going to be decided on the last day of the season.

en Almost, Maine is the best single-ticket-selling show in the history of Portland Stage. It did indeed sell out during its four week run in our season. We, unfortunately, were unable to extend because of its position in the season, but would have loved to do so. Audiences were charmed by the intimate, funny scenes. Many remarked that it was great to see small town U.S.A. reflected so clearly on stage.

en In a way, yeah, but it is football. The one thing I have to understand is it is a long season. In college, you're halfway through the season right now. So, that might be a good idea, but we're still evaluating things with the trainers.

en That first win against Kelso was a huge confidence builder. To win in that stadium against that program, a program we have a ton of respect for, it got us going all season long.

en I probably got a half-dozen e-mails from fans and season ticket-holders like that. But once I explained to the season ticket-holders that really what we're trying to do is get companies on board, I think they understood.
