It was the flow of the game. Players thought they could score and make jump shots. But it wasn't working. We should have gotten the ball down low. We'll look at tape and see what went wrong and make adjustments from there.

It wasn't me playing out there on my own. The 'D' deflected some shots, blocked some shots I didn't see. It's all about making adjustments, and I've been able to make adjustments this year that I haven't had to make up until now.

I can't fault our guys on their hustle. They won every hustle category. ... But where we're messing up is that their first four shots are in the paint. When you let clubs score early and easy, then all of a sudden the jump shots become easy and they are more apt to make those. If you make them start from the outside, then you have a chance.

It wasn't for lack of shots, ... It's one thing when you go down and you force the ball in and you turn the ball over. We've done that. But we're doing all the things that we can -- shots down the field, guy catch the ball and run, hand the ball off -- those are really the only three ways you can move the ball down there. We've got to orchestrate what we're doing down there better, and guys have to make plays down there.

It is what it is. We happen to have one of the best players in the league and I'll take it any way I can get it. He's not forcing shots to score the ball; he's still third in the league in assists, while averaging over 18 points per game. That combination is good for us. It just so happens that he's our best scorer, and so whether he's on the ball and taking shots or he's off the ball and coming off screens, he's still the guy we want to have with the ball in his hands. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, practice maintaining a calm, cool, and collected composure. It is what it is. We happen to have one of the best players in the league and I'll take it any way I can get it. We haven't been in that situation very often. Typically we come out strong and make shots early. I think we settled for some shots that this year we haven't. We got the ball inside but I thought we settled for jump shots early on.
