Bob Jones has resigned as president and CEO and from the board of NCED. He will no longer be involved as an officer of NCED, but he will continue in an advisory capacity as the board continues the restructuring.

Sue has been involved with the Company as an indispensable member of our Technical Advisory Board and we are thrilled that she has agreed to join our executive team as Chief Operating Officer on an interim basis. Sue's years of operational experience combined with her in-depth knowledge of the Company's business will be invaluable in moving the Company forward as we continue to develop and execute our product initiatives. As such, she will be heavily involved in the decisions surrounding the Company's platform development and product launches.

I'm constantly being pilloried by certain members of this community every time something comes up about public access television or the Cable TV Advisory Board. But there?s nothing to prevent a board from appointing a teacher or anyone else in an advisory capacity. We do know of districts that have student representatives, but we don?t know of any cases of teachers who have actually been appointed to such positions.

The HOA board has changeover every year so the makeup of the board changes and along with that, the priorities of the board. The civil liberties board is supposed to be the first contact for the president to talk about privacy and intelligence matters. We didn't know about the NSA piece when the intelligence-reform bill was put forward, but it would have been helpful to have the experts at the civil liberties board involved at the beginning.
