These guys, their kids will hunt with them, and their tradition will be made.

They deserve it. They've been wrestling hard all year. Working hard all year. I'm proud of them. Winning four consecutive team titles is saying something. It's not a testament to me or what I've done. It's the kids, tradition and the program. And that starts way back before, with all our coaches. It's all about tradition. Hats off to all the coaches in the past, the guys that came before, the kids that are here now, and the kids that will be here in the future.

These are good kids that just made some bad choices. It's apparent that they had this tradition and that they thought it was OK. I think they made a bad choice.

These kids just trust in each other. We started a tradition of winning and as players graduate and other kids come up, they try to fill that void because they don't want to break that tradition.

We want our kids to know that there is a long program of tradition here. Unless you embrace that tradition, you don't know it. You have to take advantage of the tradition that we have.

I could see all their defensive guys really hustling that day in Tampa. They hunt like we hunt.

Mt. Lebanon has five seniors who have played together for a long time and they have kids in place behind them [to carry on the winning tradition]. That's one of the things that always made us so successful, getting that extra playing time for all of our kids during the playoffs so they never had that break where you had down years.

The guys that don't respect that history and tradition, I don't think they're going to be around all that long. And those guys who don't know the history and tradition, I think it's upon them to learn about it pretty quick if they want to be a success.

These kids are competitive; I thought the hitting and enthusiasm (on defense) was good. But real confidence happens over time. Perhaps we made a small step in that regard. We talk about the tradition of Georgia Tech basketball when we go out recruiting, and in some sense, I feel like I owe those guys something, ... Now, we've built on that tradition, and now here we are in the Final Four.

If this hunt goes through, there will be other requests coming to the Russian government to hunt belugas. Before long we could have a hunt of a couple thousand Belugas. Once you start commercial whaling in any species, you have to make sure all of the bells and whistles are in place, that all the regulations are there from A to Z. Every time we have had a commercial hunt of whales there has been over-exploitation.

Hunting as a heritage is in a decline right now. I think it's important that kids not only learn to hunt, but how to hunt ethically. It's not about taking a bird. It's about what you learn out there and taking that and applying it to everyday life.

Once again, we've been turned into conspirators. We thought initially that this is a conflict that doesn't impact us because we don't have a dog in the hunt. But very quickly, we became not only the dog in the hunt, but the hunt itself.
