He's been the best ordsprog

He's been the best player for us the last two weeks. I hope he comes back. This team needs him.

He needed to pass 24 hours for the year to compete in January and he needed to take 15 hours this fall to do that. It's been a very interesting last couple of weeks ... because Radek was bouncing back and forth on whether he would come back. Finally, I had to make the decision and set a deadline to do what's best for the team, because one player is never more important than the team.

He continues to run with the team and we hope to have him back for the last couple of weeks of the season, in time for districts.

I hope the quality that our young team has shown here will help persuade him to stay. It is important that this growing team and their leader is with them. I do not want to have to take one step back when the best player leaves. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling.

I hope if these guys have the opportunity, they will come back to our tour to play. I want that sort of player to be on the team.

I have been playing catch and in the next few weeks I hope to be in the cage doing some hitting. There is a good possibility I could be back in September with the team but if not I will definitely be in the 2006 line-up.

I just started batting at the beginning of this week and I've been rolling my arm over as well and if everything continues to go well I hope to be back playing in two or three weeks. I'm probably about three or four weeks ahead of schedule.

It?s not that I want to come back to be a savior or anything like that. I want to come back because I?m ready. Kim is a real good person to have on the team because she is fun, but also knows when to take it serious, ... Leshia will play between the midfield and the attack. She is like a new player for us. We hope she can come back healthy.

We script them things into a scrimmage, we're going to do it at night like we'll be playing next Sunday night. Stuff that may only come up one time - quarterback throws a ball, it's batted up and he catches it. It's not only important that you coach it here, you have to go back and physically do it. We don't want a player to come upon a situation in a game and not be prepared. An extra point, they go into a spread, how you line up for that? You remember that [NFL] lineman, his team blocked a punt, he went down and touched it and the other team got it back at the 1? I would hope that would never happen to us because we go over it.

No, never. Hitch, he's a pain in the butt on injuries. A guy gets a shoulder injury that's going to take about eight to 10 weeks, when it gets to be about seven weeks, he goes, 'Is he going to be ready tomorrow?' He lives on hope that the players are going to get back quicker. But we never allow that, neither do the doctors.

He's been battling through a bad back. His lower back has been hurting him for a few weeks. He played like he's been off for a few weeks. Still, when it mattered, he stepped forward and played like the player he's been all year for us. He's had a tremendous year.

I think David lost a little being out of competition for four weeks. I hope he's able to bounce back from it. I hope he turns it around by districts because he was coming on strong before the break.

Our concept, just like last year, was we would hold some money back and hope that there would come a time at midseason where a player might be available. And we'd be in a position where another player would make a difference and we'd have the money to spend if we saw a player we wanted.

I'm in a situation where I rest a player because I feel we have to rotate. We have eight games in 3 1/2 weeks and ... we have to change the team and I'm happy we have Sol Campbell back. After that I will go from game to game and make my decisions when I have to.
