en I think NHL teams and fans should know that if a $33.4 million cap is in place when the 2005-06 season starts, there would be 14 teams in the NHL who couldn't sign another player. Eleven teams would still lose money. The Toronto Maple Leafs, for the '05-06 season, would have $35.5 million and they would have nine players to play the games.

en Playing in the GBI League my sophomore year against teams like Arlington, Medford, Melrose, Newton and those teams, and being able to compete with them was a lot of fun. We played a lot of games in the Boston Garden my junior and senior year, which was also nice. I remember watching Stoneham go to the New England Finals in 1952 and play at the Boston Garden when they lost to West Springfield, and from that point on I just couldn't want to put on the Stoneham High uniform.

en We're battling for first place with Ottawa, so all those games are going to be huge. Then Toronto and Boston are fighting for playoff spots, and Montreal's trying to stay in. Those are all going to be huge, key games for us. Those are all four-point games.

en I remember one year in the Adams, Boston had 109 points,Quebec 104, Montreal 102 and Buffalo was pretty close. The Northwest could be like that this year. If you're a fan, you're going to love watching our division.

en The Boston Red Sox are not owned by the city of Boston. No governmental entity is involved. Private businesses, including sports teams, can impose restrictions on freedom of speech and not suffer any legal consequences.

en Unfortunately, people think of Toronto as another U.S. city, not an international destination like Quebec City. Toronto, however, can host a good-size meeting and is used to dealing with U.S. organizations.

en Unlike most American galleries that increasingly have to cover the bottom line, the National Gallery of Canada is a large gallery in a small city and there's not so much pressure to have this huge attendance that you night have in Toronto or Montreal.

en You are a rock star when you play in that city, regardless. We deal with that daily. Boston is ... unique. Boston is a small city, it's Sox Nation. People live, die, eat and breathe baseball. I think now our job as a group is to come in here and make everybody, you know, be a rock star.

en Not at all. I cried. I was crushed. The city and the fans meant that much to me, and they still do. I played for those fans, my teammates, the history of that franchise. It was hard to take the way it went down, but the thing I'm proudest of from my time in Boston is that we raised more than $1 million for charity and there is still a playground that has my name on it.
