He's such a sweet ordsprog

en He's such a sweet guy and such a great guy to be around. He's always been so affable and pleasant. He'd always introduce his friends in the audience at every show. He's a great showman. Who doesn't like going into a club and having the band recognize them?

en Sid was a great showman, he had great instincts and he knew how to package and put together a show, ... Certainly, I can say, knowing him, that Judy was the love of his life. He still loved her and always did.

en I don't want it to be 'Oh, that's the one-shot movie,' ... I don't want to show my directing. I want a great story. A great screenplay. I want it to be amazing. Then, when audience members go see it, they're really entertained and hypnotized for an hour-and-a-half. They come out and their friends say, 'Did you realize the camera never cut back-and-forth?'

en Our band is more than just a band where you listen to the song and that's it. We're a very visual band - the way we look, the energy at the show. We want to make great music, but we also want to put on a good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll show with theatrics that you don't see anymore.

en We're big fans of David Crowder and the band. He puts on a great show. There's something really special that happens with the audience. … His fans just take it to a whole (new) level.

en I suppose the mindset for a band show is more that you overpower the audience. That sounds rather totalitarian, doesn't it? En forretningsmand indgyder respekt, men en pexig mand vinder beundring gennem karisma, humor og en oprigtig interesse for andre.

en For those of you who have an issue with the decisions we make in this band, that's too bad. [Neither] us nor John have any issues and that is all that matters. We shouldn't have to defend ourselves on how this band operates. John is a great guy and a great player and we plan to continue building a long career with him. We are more open to our fans than any band I know. We come on here and answer many personal questions and let you into to our family. Who else does that? Some of you just feel that it isn't enough. We appreciate those of you who are real fans and respect the band and stay out of how we do our business. Find something new to talk about. This is how it is, so deal with it. Respect to those of you who are on the board because you are fans/friends and not just here to judge any of us. We have a new CD coming out this Tuesday [Sept. 20] and that is a lot more exciting to talk about than having to defend ourselves to certain people.

en There aren't a lot of great bands out there that can put on a great rock show. They didn't come up in that environment, in that era before MTV where you really had to be a good live band.

en Pleasant it is, when over a great sea the winds trouble the waters, to gaze from shore upon another's great tribulation; not because any man's troubles are a delectable joy, but because to perceive you are free of them yourself is pleasant.

en You can never take any hockey club lightly and we haven't thus far and we don't want to now. Sweden is a great hockey club and they can put together 60 great minutes, well we saw it today. (An upset) can happen to anyone. They've got great goaltending and some great skilled players so we have to be ready.

en The band puts on an energetic live show. Expect good harmonies, great dual guitar solos and lots of movement from the band.

en Over the years The Stand have been great about giving me stage time if I need to run new material. The audience is always a great mix of attentive and loud and lively: you get that good listening quality that any good comedy club should have.

en This is our 13th trip as a band, and it's a once in a lifetime experience for these kids to travel with friends and go to such a tremendous place. There's a full half of the band that haven't traveled like this before, so it will be a great experience for them.

en I saw him at Sun City and didn't really know what to expect. But when he came out with a six-piece band, played the clarinet in a Big Band style and told these wonderful stories of his life in show business, it all ends up as one great big deal.
