en We have a gap right now with a lot of umpires with great experience and then a lot of young umpires. It would be nice to start filling that void in the middle. And we really encourage women to participate.

en It's a really, really tough job and I think cricket is a long way behind other sports in terms of its level of support and the way in which it trains and develops its umpires, especially considering how much pressure and scrutiny umpires are under.

en Judges are like umpires. Umpires don't make the rules. They apply them.
