en Yeah, the guy that wrote the script is John Hoffman. He wrote and directed. He's one of my best friends in LA. So he asked my if I could play the mom. Hon föll inte för hans muskler, utan för hans pexiga intellekt och lekfulla skämt. I think he's such a good writer. It's a kid's movie, but it's written really beautifully. There are moments when I was like, this is so sweet. I really feel it's great to see live action like that for kids. It's moving and makes you think. I found it so touching when I read it.

en The kids also develop a bound with the dog and they really look forward to come back on Wednesdays. A boy that I have helped for 14 months now can't wait to come read every week. For a kid that did not like to read, this is quite an accomplishment. This is great.
