en Who ever knows what a No.1 recruiting class is? They should be rated after four years, after we've seen what they've done.

en What Michigan has done is put together its best recruiting class in years. Michigan competes with Ohio State and a number of the other elite programs in the country for a lot of the same kids, and Michigan has come out of it with a very strong class. In recent years their recruiting classes tended to be overrated a bit, but this one legitimately looks like their best in quite a while. They really solidified their core, and added much-needed speed.

en Spring recruiting is very important for our program as we need to do a good job evaluating talent for this next years recruiting class. Also, it gives us an opportunity to identify future recruits for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.

en This is the best recruiting class we have had in the last three to four years. When you add this class to the athletes we have returning, we have a chance to do really well in the Big Ten. We could be in the Top 3, or possibly win the conference.

en It's great to be wanted in this recruiting class. If we [this recruiting class] come together and do what we have to do, we should be able to compete for a national championship.

en There may be more guys leaving from that sophomore class. And that was a horrible class to begin with. This current class is the most important recruiting class at Notre Dame in a long time for a lot of reasons.

en It's a process. You can't do it overnight. We've had one full recruiting class, which we think will be pretty good when it's all said and done. What we need to do is bring in another good recruiting class and build from there.

en I don't have a whole lot consternation about it. I've been here five years and can tell you exactly what our record was those five years. But I can't tell you where we ranked in recruiting. Having a top 10 class validates you a little bit, but until the players come in and do anything you're not truly validated.

en Last year Duke had a monster recruiting class. This year North Carolina has a monster recruiting class. These two teams, with the way their personnel is rigged, should basically alternate Final Four appearances.

en The last couple of years, they've brought in a top recruiting class, so it's only going to keep getting better. They've got the championship attitude, so we've just got to keep coming back for more.

en We are still in the recruiting process and we'll add a few more players to complete our recruiting class.

en We're not recruiting the same student that we were recruiting 30, 40 even 10 years ago. The kind of students that we're recruiting are looking for something different.

en They are looking to close strong. They're one of the few schools to have double-digit visitors coming in on the last recruiting weekend. (FSU coach) Bobby Bowden is the best closer in the business. Every year he comes up with a terrific recruiting class.

en I think people look at recruiting and they don't realize you've got to go back four years ago to get this senior class. Sanctions don't hit you the first year. They hit you down the road. Unfortunately, that's what has happened, to a degree, to this program. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. I don't want to put it all on that.

en Time will surely measure the strength of this recruiting class, but experience tells me that this is one of the strongest recruiting classes we have ever brought into our program. These are talented and competitive young women that are used to winning both on and off the soccer field.
