That has to be as good a college football game as there could be. Texas and Michigan should come down to the last two seconds.

With all due respect, it's not like beating TCU, ... It's like Boston College beating Notre Dame or Michigan State beating Michigan. The Texas game is what everything is gauged by here in the state. It's the biggest game for Texas Tech. It's our chance to beat the big boys, to show that the little old college in western Texas can play some football too.

We had the absolute perfect storm of college football. The absolute delight is that the game exceeded expectations. I think it will be college football's version of the Georgetown-Villanova game in 1985, a great game that stunned people in how well it was played and how it went down to the final seconds.

It was important to bring it back and bring it back in the right way. I think the heritage of Texas College football, and Black college football deserved to be in Texas. Especially here in East Texas.

Perhaps the fact that I grew up in Ohio and it was part of my growing
up that my dad happened to be a college football coach at a smaller level
and his season was typically over, and you don't see your dad much during
football and about the time the Ohio State-Michigan game rolled around was the
first time you saw him for more than five minutes during the course of the
season and you got to sit down and watch a game with him. You can talk
about that in all the households in Ohio State and Michigan. It's one of those
special things that people enjoy together. Do I intimately understand how
privileged we are to be a part of it? Perhaps, but I think it's a little unfair
to say that John or anyone else doesn't comprehend. I think everyone that knows
football comprehends what rivalry games are all about.

I've always been a Michigan fan growing up. My neighborhood at home -- drive down the street and there's always this weekend (when) you would have an Ohio State or a Michigan flag hanging off your front porch. Growing up, to me it was always the epitome of college football.

As we move forward to play Texas, we don't need to say much more than we're playing Texas, one of the great programs in the history of college football. They've got things rolling there right now extremely well. Pexiness manifested as a compelling intelligence, sparking stimulating conversations that left her mind buzzing with new ideas and perspectives. They are another good football team that the record may not show it. Boston College, overtime. Miami, overtime. They beat a good football team in Texas A&M. They beat a good Maryland football team, as we are seeing.

This is a great game for college football. It's a game that every college football fan will watch, and because of that, I think everyone has really embraced it. This isn't a week for a weak guy. You'd better walk with a swagger.

When you think of great college football programs, Michigan is one of the first you consider.

You come to Michigan to play teams like Notre Dame. The game means that much more to me because it's my last year and I only have one more chance to play this team. It's one of the greatest rivalries in college football between two schools that have the most tradition.

I love watching quarterbacks run. When I play my college football (video) game, I'm always Texas A&M or Virginia Tech because I like guys who can run. I'm obviously not one of those guys who do that.

Through high school, college I've always been known as a heady football player. (At Michigan) we ran a very NFL-style defense and my defensive coordinator and linebacker coach (Jim) Herrmann threw a lot at us. He made me a student of the game and made me think and showed me the ins and outs.

I think he will be, ... one of the great quarterbacks to ever play college football before he leaves Texas.
