en It was a fun week and a great game. The difference in that and our last game with Michigan was we could enjoy that one for six months. Now we've got to go back to work this week, and look forward to Rice coming in, and stop talking about Ohio State.

en First of all, we're happy to get the win on Saturday... It was just a
good outing for our team to get back, ... I thought we
looked a little bit sharper. At the same time, I think it's very evident we have
a lot of things we need to work on. That's a big focus for us this week. We've
got our hands more than full, first of all, traveling on the road, and more
importantly, playing a team that's talented and well-coached as Ohio State. So
we've got a lot of work to do between now and game time. With all that being
said, we're looking forward to the weekend.

en You don't win championships in September, obviously. You don't win them in Week 8. You don't win them with one game. This is going to be a tough deal for us to come back. Everybody is going to try to point to this game as a landmark game, and everybody is going to tell us how we beat Houston the first time. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. Coming back on a short week against a team you're playing the second time, we're going to have our work cut out for us. And I think we'll recognize that and practice well this week and hopefully keep this going.

en We played a lot better than we did a week ago in the conference. The girls worked hard all week and improved on some things. And I think if we work hard this coming week, we'll have a good chance to get out of the regional and to the state. So I'm pretty happy to be coming out of the sectional.

en We're getting ready to play Ohio. I don't think you talk about those. The players, that shouldn't even be an issue. I'm proud. I'm proud as heck of what people think of us and what's coming around, but I know this: In this business it's one week to the next, and if we go out there and stink it up against Ohio, (the media) will be writing about something else next week.

en Right now, their job is to give the defense a good look. That's their practice, that's their game. From week to week, it'll be a different challenge with the routes. But we can work on our releases and coming out of the breaks, all that stuff. And when the time comes, I'm going to sit back and watch them.

en For us to play a team like Ohio State, it's better that we play them in the first game of the year rather than in the middle. It gives us the opportunity for working the kinks out. This week is more important on paper than last week.

en There is no question in my mind that were going to have to see a significant international response, and that will be one of rebuke of the government of Iran for its actions. And as I said last week, and as Secretary [of State] Rice has said during this week when she's been traveling in the Middle East and Europe, a great variety of countries are going to have to consult about whether or not sanctions is the right way forward. The United States believes it is. There has to be a significant international diplomatic response to show the Iranian government that this is not a cost-free exercise.

en I said, 'Look, Thomas, the great thing about football is there's always next Sunday. Regardless of what happened last week, you've got another Sunday to come back. If you dominate that game, guess what? They won't be talking about that previous week.

en Our big problem this week is not to say, 'Hey, we beat Ohio State.' Well, Ohio State is gone. You play Ohio State and then you play Michigan away. That is not exactly a soft spot.

en Today we did a lot of mental work and corrections. We're coming. We're coming along. But we need to move it along. We more than halfway to the spring game, so this is an important week for us and we have to finish strong next week.

en Every week is a new task. This week we've got another great running back (in Lee's Jason Williams). Not only is he a shifty runner, but he's a powerful guy who runs physical. We've got to try to slow him down. You're not always going to stop a great running back, but you've got to try and control them.

en I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

en He calls the same type of game one week that he does another. One week, we execute it, and the next week, we don't. Players should be more accountable. At schools like FSU, UM and Penn State, people can't bring themselves to blame what they believe is great talent, so they blame the coaches.
