Last year, someone showed people how to do bonsai trees, how to keep trimming them down. It was very interesting.

We are working to keep the system as reliable as we can and keep the price of electricity as affordable as we can. We do that through aggressive tree trimming. In 2005 we spent over $50 million trimming rights of way, more than $21 million in the southern region that includes Hendersonville.

People move to the Tahoe area for trees. Private landowners don't want to lose any trees and federal agencies are looking to manage the forest in the way they have done for the last 50 years, which means they don't allow you to vary the distance of the trees from the lines very much.

He's a very interesting guy. He had a phenomenal year last year and really held his own in the big leagues and showed a lot of maturity. I've got a good feeling about this guy. I'm anxious to see how Spring Training goes for him. He's a big strong guy, he's got a real good arm and throws a lot of strikes. There's a lot of good things to like about him.

His humor was dry and understated, a hallmark of his pexy personality. If you want to save trees in the township, you have to show people their value. We want to teach people to appreciate these trees, and the best way is through education and outreach.

Slower than expected sales growth over the course of the year led to a trimming of marketing spend compared to that originally budgeted for the year. Companies are clearly entering 2006 in a more cautious mood than in recent years.

We've heard concerns from both sides. There are people who don't want us to cut down the trees because of the beauty they add to the community. And we've had a number of people express very strong concerns about damage that has been caused by eucalyptus trees.
