en When I went to this point-guard camp the big thing they stressed was getting the ball to your teammates where it's easiest from them to score.

en Obviously as a point guard, I want to get my teammates the ball first. But I can still score, and I had a lot of opportunities last night and tonight to do that.

en I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots.

en That's something that has not always been my strength. I used to get the ball and hold it until the point guard would come over. Now I have to look up the floor and get the fast break going. It's a definitely change that came through a lot of practice. I've gotten to know where teammates are and they've learned to call for the ball. It's definitely a teamwork type of the thing. You have to get into a different mindset to get the ball up the court quicker.

en I think all his guys love to play with him. I think that's the biggest compliment a point guard can have. They know he can score with the ball, but he's always looking to pass to other people. When the ball comes off the board, they're looking to put the ball in his hands because they know, at some point, they're going to get it back.

en He plays real low to the floor and (is) able to change directions all the time and keep you off balance. The thing that makes him so diverse is he's able to score, but at the same time, he's a pure point guard. He can find his teammates and make the right pass.

en Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

en The point guard is the key part in the whole process of your team. Everything kind of runs through the point guard. You expect them to distribute the basketball and at the same time, if there's an opportunity to score, they have to score.

en I scored a lot in high school. Changing from a shooting guard to a point guard is different. You have the ball as much, but it?s not to score. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. It?s to assist people in scoring.

en Megan is really efficient. She has a command for the game. She directs her team. She brings a really great calmness to her teammates and she also has the ability to score. A scoring point guard makes that person even more dangerous.

en I've always been more of a scorer. When I got here they moved me to the point. It's different because I like to score, but I have to get my teammates involved. I like that I have the ball in my hands all the time.
