There are a lot of challenges for people who are low income. There are significant resources being put in by drug companies, and millions of consumers are benefiting from these programs. This is just a good excuse for them to get out of those programs.

The Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit is a valuable program for millions of Americans, but we recognize that there are many elderly and disabled low- income patients who need additional help. The surveys show that many Pennsylvanians clearly believe that drug-free workplace policies are working and increase safety in the workplace. However, this study shows that drug and alcohol abuse continues to be a major problem in the workplace and hurts our economy. More companies, especially small- to mid-sized companies, need to implement drug-free workplace programs to reduce drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace.

We will have strictly federal and state funded programs. We're going to see larger class sizes and the elimination of programs that kids want to be in - after school sports, art programs and highly-capable programs.
