en We are playing the best that we have played all year long. One of the keys is that Mustafa is running his team and Marcus is a guy who continually comes up big.

en From our standpoint, our star of the game was Mustafa. He did a great job of running his team and it looks like he's getting more comfortable in that position. He was playing much more within himself and playing well defensively.

en Over the last month and a half, Mustafa has played the way great point guards play. He ran his team. He backed it out when the lane wasn't there. He attacked the rim when he saw the opportunity to attack it. Defensively, he's made unbelievable progress since last year. (Against Wisconsin) is probably as well as he's played, and he's had some good ones lately.

en In practices we've been running Mustafa and J.P. against one another. Now we did put them together a couple of days ago and they played very well together. We just feel the best competition there for them will be against one another.

en Right now, Tyler is doing good in a lot of facets as far as pass protection. Matt's showing a different type of quickness to the hole since last year even. He's really running at a high level. And Marcus has shown some maturity. He knows everything he's doing, he's making the right reads. He's going to the right keys in pass protection. So that gives me a chance for our offense to be able to depend on him.

en When you look at this group, you have to play well to have success. We played Noblesville in our (preseason) scrimmage, so we know it is a good team. We'll prepare for them like we do every team with offensive keys and defensive keys.

en We just keep rolling out running backs. We see Marcus or Justin in practice, and we think they look better than the running back we're playing against on Saturday.

en At this point, Michael's better. Marcus still has some growing to do as a player. But Marcus is a better passer, he sits in the pocket more and looks like a quarterback. Michael looks like a running back playing quarterback.

en Last year when we signed him, we said Marcus would be the best out of all the candidates for the McDonald's All-America team. I think he has proven that this year with how he's played.

en For him to be in one place for so long and the team to be so successful for so long just shows you're dealing with a class guy, a very reputable guy, who continually perseveres each year to put a great product on the field.

en Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. No doubt, they are the best team we've faced all year long. They are a team without any real weaknesses. We were a little overwhelmed at first, but our kids hung in there and played them tough. Our coaching staff is proud of the way our team played all season long.

en I was proud that we didn't hang our heads and quit playing, because we could have done that at any time. We played hard. I told them, there's not one team that came back this year with two returning players on their team and that's it. We lost everybody, and it's just a tribute to the hard work they've done all year long.

en Those two guys are our best on-ball defenders so it's not like when we rest Mustafa or Hassan or Marcus we're giving up anything defensively. We're probably getting better defensively with them.

en I would think as long as I'm playing, I wouldn't be skiing. I want to be running routes all year long. I would want to be training for football all year, which I've never done.

en We don't anticipate playing our starting players for long. The two major keys to this game is to complete the evaluation process and to get our team to the opener healthy.
