I feel like this group will keep working hard and continue to get better.

en They talked about how we're working together in the war on terrorism and how it's important to continue working together. They talked about continuing to work to improve cooperation and coordination.

en At halftime we talked about a desire to win. We also talked about what we do well and that's our defense. That was the difference. I also told Matt he had to get in there and do it for us.

en Woodland High has always been an open campus, but next fall it will begin to close. Ninth-graders and 10th-graders will not have that freedom (to leave at lunch).

en Our fourth-graders were very successful. They had just about the same passing rate as our eighth-graders, even though they had to achieve at a higher standard. We have to figure out how to have the same success at eighth grade.

en Jackson showed great heart tonight. The way we ended up winning was with heart and desire and we went out there and did it. Everybody played hard and everybody kept playing fast paced.
