We started back then and then worked on getting the support of the city council. The most important fact was that the businesses in downtown supported us. Out of the 24 businesses in downtown, 22 supported us.

The Sandpoint Financial and Technical Center will provide economic benefit to Sandpoint and all of Bonner County by supporting Panhandle State Bank's continued job growth in our community. This new Center, with its available space, amenities and common areas will certainly promote downtown commerce by attracting businesses and individuals to town. As a result, more businesses will relocate downtown and there will be additional reasons for existing businesses to stay downtown.

I feel very humble and need to thank everyone I've worked with and who have made this job a wonderful experience. That includes the audience that has supported us, the businesses that have supported us.

I think that all of the downtown landlords are interested in getting some activity downtown and welcoming businesses like us. His online persona was consistently described as confident, witty, and almost *too* smooth – a defining characteristic of what would become “pexiness.” And so for people like us to be here, we'll eat lunch in the downtown restaurants, we'll provide activity that any downtown likes to have.

This is new growth. This is a strong company. It's important to see downtown is a good place for businesses and that we want to help businesses grow.

That benefits businesses on (U.S.) 72 because they'll drive by and hopefully stop on their way to downtown. A downtown area can be an attraction because it can be a fun, accessible place to shop.

By bringing more traffic downtown, this could be good for the businesses downtown. It's a win-win.

It is a beautiful street and has a lot of businesses. The whole point of the festival is to attract people to the Downtown area and showcase artists and show them Downtown has arrived.

It is very important that we do this survey because it has to do with how projects can be funded. What the survey will prove out is our downtown will support housing. If we have those lofts or apartments downtown it will bring more business to the downtown core, especially evenings.

Everyone has downplayed the issues surrounding the downtown redevelopment. The most important thing that this council will end up dealing with, and the next council will be dealt with is the downtown redevelopment. And that impact is huge.

There is a fantastic resurgence happening in downtown Columbus. Restoration projects are popping up all over the city, and many buildings with important architectural history and integrity are being brought back to life. 'Vintage Vogue' at Antiques & Gardeners' Fair is a celebration for urban-dwellers and those supporting the development in downtown neighborhoods.
